“Most Americans don’t even understand that war is real when they are watching it on television.
It is only when they come to Walter Reed to see a family member who lost a limb or had PTSD that they realize.
We have people who suffer wounds that mean it’s going to be hell for them for the rest of their lives.
Meanwhile, as we now know, Iraq was no threat to us.
I’m upset about it to this day because our service members were used as pawns.”
