“I had become…tired of using the government to play your games.

What we were doing didn’t have anything to do with national defense. It had nothing to do with defense.

These people who manipulate the defense institutions that are supposed to be constitutionally bound and serve the country and the people what pay for them, they don’t do that. They just use those institutions.

When you’re in the service for a while, you begin to lose patience for it.”
