March 12-13th,  Veterans For Peace will visit members of the U.S. Senate and Congress delivering and speaking about their letter to the Secretary of U.S. Department of State, Anthony Blinkin which covers the violations of the Geneva Convention-drawing the connection between shipments of weapons to Israel committing genocide in Gaza, and violations of U.S. statutes.   

The Conventional Arms Transfer Policy, prohibits U.S. weapons transfers when it’s likely that the arms will be used to commit genocide; crimes against humanity;  including attacks intentionally directed against civilians, serious acts of gender-based violence, and violence against children.   

There is confirmation on ongoing human rights and humanitarian disasters due to Israel’s cut off of water, electricity, and destruction of sewage infrastructure, and delaying of aid shipments.
