The situation in Gaza shows signs of dangerously escalating from (relatively “mere”) genocide based on Israeli officials’ calls for “collective punishment;” moreso now, with Hezbollah’s and other armed factions’ threats to consequently enter the war, along with the U.S. sending its air carriers, fighter jets and massive armaments to Israel. 

Everyone who doesn’t want World War III and planetary omnicide should be urgently demanding a simple ceasefire. Leaders of all countries need to realize that such a world war, unlike the first two, is neither winnable nor survivable.  Only if a ceasefire can be arranged, is there any hope of stopping this dangerous escalation.
