Rather than prolong this war and wasting tens of billions of dollars Americans can use in their communities, Congress should demand a diplomatic end.
I believe that if Americans were really being honest on the issue, some might concede they actually miss the Cold War.
My strong sense is that the lesson in every subsequent administration has been to try and keep military action off the front pages as absolutely as much as possible.
We owe it to ourselves as citizens…to inform ourselves about what our government is up to, especially when what it’s up to is killing, whether directly or indirectly, untold numbers of people around the world.
