The Biden Administration’s hidden and secret wars like many of Kissinger’s, serve no practical American interests and make a mockery of purported American values. Kissinger is now dead, like millions of his victims, but his ruinous legacy remains.

Rather than utilizing our relationship with Israel to demand they conduct a hostage exchange and begin good faith negotiations to end the blockade and occupation of Palestine, the Biden Administration spent the last six weeks aiding and abetting what more and more people and major institutions around the world are decrying as a genocide.

Negotiations between the US and China serve to build trust, repair a fractious relationship, and potentially reverse, or at least slow, the current arms race.
It is also troubling because it shows evidence of a commander-in-chief willing to dismiss information he doesn’t like. This tarnishes the integrity of any decision-making by the White House.
The administration’s current response embarrasses America, showing the world that our President and Congress are puppets with no moral compass.
There is no military solution; only a dedicated and long overdue political solution to these wars will bring peace, stability and reconciliation to the people of Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Josh Paul should be congratulated and thanked for his resignation in protest from the State Department over the U.S. government’s response and overall policy towards Israel and Palestine.
The Secretary of State, meanwhile, flies to Israel and reportedly prevents his personnel from speaking of ceasefire and de-escalation. An end to such unconditional support can produce détente, compromise, and a diplomatic resolution.
